Crocodile and Bird Watching Tour

This tour takes part in the Tarcoles River which is a crucial habitat for a number of species, mostly known for the population of American Crocodiles. It is said that the river has one of the highest populations of Crocodiles in the world, 25 Crocodiles per square km.

The Tarcoles river forms on the border of the Carara Biological Reserve, 50 species of migratory, native and coastal birds, including a variety of heron and egrets, crested caracas, roseate spoonbills, and scarlet macaws can be seen here.
