This adventure starts with an early drive south of Quepos on our air-conditioned minibus. It takes one and a half hours through african oil plantations, teak reforestation projects and incredible landscapes to the river entry point. After a safety briefing and equipment check we start maneuvering rapids like "Boca Diablo" and "Washing Machine". We stop on the river shore for a snack of fresh fruits and cookies, then continue on our river journey. Before the end we hit "Screaming Child" rapid, which is well known and is quite a rush. After the rapid we wind down to where river tames down and will meet up with the transportation. A five minute drive will take you to Silencio Lodge where a hot Costa Rican meal will be served on your table. After lunch, we will provide transportaion back to your location.
