For the adventuresome beginner and experienced rafter the class III rapids will have you filled with adrenaline as you paddle hard over the waves. Considered one of the cleanest rivers in Central America; the Savegre is an authentic full day adventure including relaxation and pure action while enjoying the fantastic landscapes.

Along the way you will be astounded by the awesome canyons, waterfalls, and primary rainforest of Costa Rica. The Savegre river in Quepos, Manuel Antonio is a magnificent stretch of whitewater that begins its course by winding out of a sparsely inhabited valley in the mountains.

This Costa Rica Rafting Adventure starts with an early drive south of Quepos on our a/c minibus. It takes about 45 minutes through African oil plantations, teak reforestation projects and incredible landscapes to the river put-in. Here we will start off with a safety briefing and gear you up with all the equipment necessary. After this we will start maneuvering rapids like "Boca Diablo" and "Washing Machine". Along the river shore we will stop for some snacks, fresh fruits and cookies. After a little break we head back out on the river. Before the end we hit "Screaming Child "rapid and then the river tames down until we arrive at the final destination where we meet with our mini bus. Once loaded up its a five minute drive to Silencio Lodge where a hot typical Costa Rican meal will be served for us to eat. After lunch is a 50 minute drive back to Quepos so feel free to enjoy a nice nap along the way.
