COMBO RAFTING &

Naranjo River & Manuel Antonio
National
Park
A class III / IV challenge for more
experienced paddlers. The Naranjo River drops
steeply from the mountains above Quepos, through a
beautiful jungle gorge and takes you on a wild ride
to sea level passing nearby farmlands and palms
plantations. Rafters should be physically fit and
ready for adventure.
. When the tour ends, you’ll be taken to Rancho Los
Tucanes, to enjoy our famous gourmet lunch.After
that we will take you to Manuel Antonio National
Park
Once there, our
certified and bilingual guides will give a
description of natural history. Inside the park
there are a variety and abundance of animals that
are just waiting to see you, and our guides will be
happy to explain the diverse nature of each and
every one of them. It is very important to
know that the park is host to many endangered
species: the Squirrel monkey, which is commonly seen
around. Other species of interest are: the Howler
monkey, white faced monkey, agouti, the two and
three toed sloth to name a few.
COMBO CARARA & CROCODILE SAFARI
This4700Ha reserve forms an oasis for wildlife from
a large surrounding area. Carara offers a rich
biodiversity due to its transitional position
between the dry northern forest and the humid
tropical forests of the south. Carara has fauna and
flora from both ecosystems and a virgin forest that
covers most of the park. This reserve is known for
its abundant birds and also for being one of the
last habitats in Costa Rica of the Scarlet Macaw.
After
that We will take you Close to the Carara (NP) we
find the Tarcoles River, home to a wide variety of
birds and crocodiles. A trip down stream will show
you the Gaucalillo Mangroves, nesting place for the
Scarlet Macaw and on both sides of the river bank
you will see numerous species of birds such as.
Pelicans, Ospreys, frigates, trogons, etc. Very
spectacular are the crocodiles, some measuring up to
23feet long. Take pictures of your guide hand
feeding one of those enormous animals. A very
educational tour for the whole family.

to a wide variety of birds and crocodiles. A trip
down stream will show you the Gaucalillo Mangroves,
nesting place for the Scarlet Macaw and on both
sides of the river bank you will see numerous
species of birds such as. Pelicans, Ospreys,
frigates, trogons, etc. Very spectacular are the
crocodiles, some measuring up to 23feet long. Take
pictures of your guide hand feeding one of those
enormous animals. A very educational tour for the
whole family.

your way toward the Bijagual Waterfall you will
enjoy some of the most spectacular panoramic views
in the country, This waterfall that measures more
than Two Hundred meters was once used as a landmark
for some of Pirates that frequented our Coasts,
While riding your well trained horse you appreciate
the flora and fauna the area has to offer. You may
see the Scarlett Macaws, Toucans, Trogons are some
of the aerial family, You may also spot Monkeys or a
Sloth just hanging around. Many of the amphibious
family can also be seen, so prepare yourself for

bathing suits to enjoy the natural pools the
